Being blessed with one of the founder’s professional backgrounds in fine art, yucolab gained unique experience in working with cultural units on new media and experimental art projects, and qualified as one of the first-most proficient teams to infuse technology with art in Hong Kong. Besides joining hands with local artists and institutes, yucolab also took on the challenge of the production of promotional videos and animations for the opening of the Hong Kong Palace Museum; 2022 Hong Kong -Macao Visual Art Biennale; central immersive interactive installation for “Sharks: Australian Museum”; exhibition for the Norway BEK Expanded Symposium; curated the digital art installation of “Digital Muse” & “d’strict Remix” for the opening show of ‘Oi! Digital Urban’; design and engineering “Re-Imagining Collective Swimming in North Point” outdoor art installation for ‘Via North Point Art Festival’; and collaborated as the multimedia content contributor for the Hong Kong Museum of Art and Tai Kwun–Hong Kong ‘s Centre of Heritage & Art permanent exhibitions. We also engaged as Creative Technologist of ‘Magic Behind The Moon’ Public Artwork and Outdoor Light Show for Hong Kong Cultural Centre’s 30th Anniversary; and AV Consultants for the M+ Pavilion of WKCD.
